Dedicated to the legendary Egyptian singer and cultural icon Umm Kulthum ('Kawkab al-Sharq' / Star of the East), the Umm Kulthum Museum is located on Roda Island inside the historic Manasterly Palace grounds adjacent to the Nilometer in Cairo. Managed under Egypt's Ministry of Culture, the museum showcases her iconic stage dresses, signature diamond-studded sunglasses, musical instruments, original lyrics, medals, and personal archives alongside a multimedia library and cinema hall.
